- BUBBA - Forrest Gump's friend.
- BUTTERCUP - Funniest when used for a large homely brute of a dog.
- CHEWBACCA - CHEWY for short - The Wookie from Star Wars
- FUZZY - Fuzzy Wuzzy was a Bear, Fuzzy Wuzzy had no hair....
- GIZMO - brings memories of Gremlins - and the cute creatures

- HOMER - brings up images of the Simpsons and inbreeding. Although, I know a Homer who is far from dull.
- MACARONI
- OZONE - Always one of my favorites and stole the idea for a malamute pup I acquired years ago. For the slower, not so intelligent dogs.

- SPOT - a classic, dull sounding name, from children's books. President Bush's family dog was Spot. I'll say no more.

- TRIXIE - American origin - meaning > Bringer of Joy
